Loreto Riveros is a visual artist based in NYC. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts from Universidad de Chile (2009) and an MFA in Digital Arts from Pratt Institute (Brooklyn, 2013). She also has studied Visual Arts and Art History at the University of California Los Angeles (2007) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Cross-media (Graphic design, Web and Video), from Academia MAC (Santiago, Chile 2008).
She has accomplished the Student Mobility Scholarship from Universidad de Chile (2007), the Academic Collaboration Scholarship from Universidad de Chile (2008), a FONDART Government Grant, for developing “Render” painting project, given by the Ministry of Culture, Santiago, Chile (2010) and Conicyt Master Scholarship (2011).
She has had four solo shows: “Yo soy el Camino, la Verdad y la Vida” at Centro Cultural Estacion Mapocho Gallery, Santiago, Chile (2009), “Render” at Guillermo Núñez Gallery, Santiago, Chile (2011), “Re-Creo” at Bech Gallery, Santiago, Chile (2012) and “Jacundó” at Pratt DDA Gallery, Brooklyn, New York (2013).
She has also exhibited collectively at: N200 ¿Quién emerge y quién cura?
